Plac targowy / Market Square
Powstał na przełomie lat 50. i 60. XIX w. Wraz z ul. 1 Maja (d. ul. Wiskicka), przy której został wytyczony, stanowił oś urbanistyczną dla założenia przestrzennego osady fabrycznej, dzieląc ją na część fabryczną i mieszkalną. Pierwotnie pełnił funkcję rynku. Z biegiem lat skoncentrowano tu szereg budynków użyteczności publicznej, które zmieniły charakter placu na reprezentacyjny.
It was created at the turn of the 1850s and 1860s. Together with 1 Maja Street, on the former Wiskicka Street, along which it was laid out, it formed the urban axis for the spatial layout of the factory settlement, dividing it into a factory and residential part. Originally, it served as a market square. Over the years, a number of public buildings were concentrated here, changing the character of the square into a representative one.
