Przepompownia / Intermediate pumping station

Budynek powstał w 1902 r., w ramach przebudowy sieci wodociągowej. Pełnił funkcję studni artezyjskiej. Wzniesiony na planie ośmiokąta foremnego, potocznie nazywany ,,okrąglakiem”. Proces produkcji wyrobów lnianych wymagał dużej ilości wody. Czerpano ją z oddalonego ok. 100 m Górnego Stawu, zbiornika wybudowanego na rzece Pisi Gągolinie do celów przemysłowych. Z pompowni wodę podawano dalej do zbiorników, główny znajdował się na budynku Starej Przędzalni, w wieży z tzw. wodozbiorem.

The building was constructed in 1902, as part of the reconstruction of the water supply system. It served as an artesian well. Erected on the plan of a regular octagon, colloquially called „roundhouse”. The process of manufacturing linen products required a large amount of water. It was drawn from the Upper Pond, about 100 meters away, a reservoir built on the Pisia Gągolina River for industrial purposes. From the intermediate pumping station, the water was fed further to the reservoirs, the main one being located on the Old Spinning Mill building, in a tower.
