Czesalnia / Hackling shop
Obiekt powstał w latach 70. XIX w., początkowo jako nowy warsztat, następnie rozbudowany kilkukrotnie na przełomie XIX i XX w. Pełnił funkcje oddziału przygotowawczego przędzalni. Czesanie to finalny (po roszeniu) etap obróbki włókien lnianych poprzedzający przędzenie, ma na celu ostateczne usunięcie zanieczyszczeń. W 1905 r. w czesalni zainstalowano urządzenia odkurzające, później rozszerzono je o aparaturę nawilżającą.
The building was built in the 1870s, initially as a new workshop, then expanded several times at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. It served as a preparatory department of the spinning mill. The hackling is the final (after retting) step in the processing of linen fibers preceding spinning, and is aimed at the final removal of impurities. In 1905, dedusting equipment was installed in the hackling shop, later expanded to include a humidifying apparatus.
